Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a mild Bartlett pear like bouquet with a hint of wet stone, vanilla Tootsie roll, mild lemon and green apple in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild tart lime with notes of gentle green apple and minerality noted throughout. The finish is dry and its minerality lingers nicely after the wine is gone. This Sauvignon Blanc is quite friendly and would nicely complement shrimp scampi and butter sautéed summer squash. Enjoy - Ken
