Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot opens with a mild blueberry bouquet with hints of black cherry and pencil shavings. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, rich and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe blueberry and black cherry blend with a hint of light oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are dusty and linger for a while. The panel suggested pairing this nice Washington State Merlot with roasted duck breast and beef burgundy. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This Merlot captivates the senses with intense flavors of dark berry and plum with nuances of clove. Supple tannins and a full-bodied mouthfeel create a balance that can hold its own against hearty meats, yet pairs perfectly with pasta.
