Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Pinot is very approachable. It opens with a modest black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very smooth, and elegant. This wine is super easy to drink. Its flavor profile is n appealing blend of black cherry and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its gentle tannins land softly. This refined Pinot would nicely complement a grilled cedar plank salmon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Complex, layered aromas of orchid, red raspberry preserves, plum, and vanilla with a hint of nutmeg. The wine opens with a soft, sweet impression of cherries, rose and mocha powder. The finish is long and fruity. Ripe, youthful tannins that will soften with time. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a good overall balance of fruit, oak, and tannins. A winemaker blend with limited production. Peak drinkability is between 2009-2013.
