Wine Review: This wine is the best wine I have tried over the course of the last 2 years at least. It was so unbelievable that I invited some panel members over to enjoy the rest of the bottle. They agreed and were extremely appreciative that I shared such a gem. This Shiraz is opaque dark purple and opens with a brilliantly perfumed and intense ripe blackberry bouquet with hints of pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, impeccably balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious blackberry. The finish is quite dry and its savory tannins sail on and on for several minutes. The panel members could not believe the length of this wine. This is a wine that would go exceptionally well with a NY strip steak smothered with butter and sautéed mushrooms. In summary, this is a magnificent wine that will impress everyone you share it with. We thought about giving the wine 100 points, but we decided we would have to close up shop because we would have found the elusive perfect bottle of wine. So 99 points it is. Drink up and enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: "A deep red-purple, this is a very rich fruit-forward wine, showing some oak and spice. An immediate attack of fruit with depth. It is not overpowering, but harmonious, with a rich core of firmness that makes it stand out. A great wine with harmony and depth, and a lovely persistence of fruit." - Rolf Binder
