Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine opens with a spicy black raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and zesty with a blend of ripe strawberry and black raspberry flavors. There were interesting notes of chocolate and black pepper mixed in as well. The finish is dry and it lingers slightly. This wine definitely opens up and becomes more complex with some air. I would pair this wine with Spanish rice. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine has the best of both California and Burgundy. Aromas of dark earth, forest, dark cherries and unsweetened cocoa lead to a lush round palate of cranberry, raspberry and blackberry. This wine is ripe and flavorful yet elegantly balanced with refreshing acidity and an incredibly long finish filled with deep, captivating flavors.
