Wine Review: This very very dark opaque purple wine was a glass pour offering at a recent visit to Olive Garden. It opened with a light but attractive blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a blend of juicy black raspberry and black cherry. There were also notes of spice and pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This food friendly wine went nicely with my lasagna like appetizer. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Brilliant ruby red. Intense red fruit aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and raspberry. A succulent, supple well-structured palate with a silky smooth finish.
