Wine Review: This yellow colored Riesling opens with a pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and a bit zippy, and lively. The flavor profile is an off-dry lemon with some tea mixed in as well. The finish is pleasant and lingers nicely. We thought this wine was food friendly and would be a nice complement to a turkey dinner. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Don’t let the numbers fool you, the residual sugar is 2.6% but the natural balance of the wine tastes like an off dry Riesling. This wine is lively, with round, full notes of tangerine and other exotic and tropical fruits. A hint of acidity balances the wine perfectly. The finish is a pleasant, flinty lift. This wine is great with hard cheeses or chicken dishes, and most Asian dishes.
