Wine Review: This dark ruby colored California Syrah opens with an inviting light blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is smooth, tasty, and has modest structure. Its flavors can be defined as plum. The finish is dry and its tannins are manageable but linger. This wine is versatile and food friendly and would pair well with wild mushroom soup and pork tenderloin or. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: "A deep, dark, concentrated color leads to blueberry, black cherry, vanilla, cinnamon and toasty oak spice aromas in the nose. Firm tannins complement cherry cola, dark fruit, cedar and white pepper flavors while a full mid-palate gives way to a well-balanced and lingering finish. Enjoy with crispy roast duck, lamb, and spicy marinara pasta dishes." – Denise Shurtleff, Winemaker
