Wine Review: This my friends and readers was the best wine that I tried on my recent trip to California. As many of you know, I love well made Petite Sirah and when you find it, it is heaven on earth in my opinion. This wine rocked my world. This black colored wine opens with a mild licorice like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, smooth, silky, and very elegant for a Petite Sirah. It displays delicious blackberry flavors with a hint of oak and pepper. There is also a dash of spice on the back palate. The finish of this young wine is quite dry and it shows its pronounced tannins that should settle down in a bit. For now they sail on for quite some time. If you really want to impress someone, buy this wine and pair it with a NY strip steak. Enjoy – Ken PS – (This is a wine club only wine so you will have to call the winery)
