Wine Review: This black cherry colored Pinot from Oregon opens with a spicy black cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very nicely balanced, smooth, and silky with savory black raspberry flavors. There are also notes of black cherry, caramel, and pepper as well. The finish is dry and its tingly tannins linger nicely. The panel would pair this wine with salmon or pork tenderloin. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Black cherry. Earth. Allspice. Black raspberry aromas combined with a bit of mushroom and plum. There is some dark fruit and tannin that leads to exceptional length and acid balance.
