Wine Review: This bright cherry red colored wine was our favorite of the 2 entries from Raymond. This wine opens with an attractive black cherry like bouquet with hints of vanilla and mint. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is smooth and soft with cherry and current flavors. One panelist described the wine a succulent. The finish is rather dry and its tannins show noteworthy persistence. Pair the wine with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This opulent wine opens with ripe fruit aromas of blueberry, blackberry and currant followed by earth, spice and mocha notes. Full-bodied with a rich mouth feel and silky smooth flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, blueberry, black pepper, spicy earth, cassis and cocoa. Well structured with nicely integrated tannins and a long, lingering finish.
