Wine Review: This wine impressively defeated the competition in our recent blind tasting of high end Cab’s. One reviewer stated that this wine was the total package. We all agreed and scored this Excellent wine 94 points and won by more than a point. This very dark purple colored wine opens with an attractive eucalyptus and cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extremely smooth, silky and elegant with delicious blackberry flavors with a hint of espresso. The finish is dry and its tannins are very well extended. I have said for years that I think Robert Foley is one of the best winemakers out there and this Cabernet backed up that statement with our tasting panel. Enjoy this wonderful wine at your favorite steakhouse with a perfectly cooked filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Showcasing the diversity within our mountaintop Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, this powerful, extracted wine delivers layers of fruit, cocoa and spice. Super-ripe aromas of black cherry and blueberry are accented by subtle tar and soy notes. The first sip coats the palate with black fruit, coffee and the weighty tannins that provide the firm structure of a true mountain Cab.
