Wine Review: This dark ruby Pinot opens with a light raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, with nicely integrated acidity and ripe cherry flavors. The finish is quite dry and its noticeable tannins linger for quite some time. This Pinot will do well in your cellar for a while. However, if you can’t resist, decant it, and serve it with prime rib. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2006 Clos Pepe Pinot Noir is one of the better wines that we have produced from the vineyard. Big and rich, but never “over-the-top,” we believe this is a Clos that will improve with some time in bottle.
