Wine Review: This is the second year in a row that this Champagne finished near the top of the results from our blind Champagne tasting. This year this light yellow colored champagne finished in 3rd place. This offering has fine bubbles and opens with an aromatic citrus like bouquet. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is classic in style, terrifically balanced, and very tasty with apple like flavors and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and lingers quite nicely. The panel would pair this elegant Champagne with broiled scallops. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Notes of fully ripe fruit, such as nectarines and cherry plums are apparent initially. The finish reveals hints of nougat, honey and cereal grains. This wine is remarkably smooth and generous on the palate. Three years of maturation have given it body and substance. As the wine opens up, it is full and intense with notes of warm bread, blending harmoniously with discreet notes of ginger and coriander.
