Wine Review: Gloria Ferrar submitted an impressive line-up this year for our sparking wine blind tasting . This pale yellow sparkler with very fine bubbles finished in 2nd place. It opens with an attractive melon and apple like bouquet. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is balanced, crisp, and displays delicious lemon lime flavors with hints of granny smith apples. The finish is dry and quite refreshing. The panel would pair this wine with scallops or swordfish. Most of panelist said they would pay $25 to $40 for this very impressive value sparkler. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Delicate pear and floral notes backed by toasty almond. On the palate, one finds lively citrus, toast and apple flavors overlaid with persistent effervescence, a creamy mid-palate and toasty finish.
