Wine Review: This Cabernet from Argentina finished in fourth place in our recent blind tasting of mid priced Cabs. This wine is a bright dark ruby colored wine. It opens with a very attractive cherry vanilla like bouquet with hints of licorice and menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, soft, balanced, with spicy black raspberry flavors with some oak influence. The finish is dry and noticeably tannic as it lingers for a while. The panel felt this wine would pair quite nicely with barbecue ribs or beef stew. Enjoy –KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine has an intense red/purple color and an enjoyable, complex nose that is reminiscent of berries, spice, cedar, chocolate and much more. The nose carries through to the palate, delivering rich, full texture and berry-spicy-cedar flavors. It is a well-balanced wine with a lingering, pleasing finish.
