Wine Review: This light yellow wine opens with a very attractive tropical fruit like bouquet with notes of peach, mango life savors and light oak coming through. On the palate, this light bodied wine is soft with some forward acidity. The flavor profile is ripe green apple with some light lime and touch of minerality and oak. The finish is dry and brief. This wine as easy drinking and was liked by the panelist, but could have used a bit more flavor on the mid palate. It’s a good wine and will serve you well as a midweek Chard. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The rich full palate combined with well-integrated acidity makes the Folie á Deux Chardonnay a perfect match with one of our Chefs’ favorite dishes – Pankocrusted Dungeness crab cakes with a coconut Thai red curry sauce.
