Wine Review: This pale yellow wine was consistently praised by the tasting panel. As a matter of fact it won our second blind Chardonnay tasting. It opens with an attractive mango and creamsicle like bouquet. On the palate, this light bodied wine is smooth, creamy, and crisp. Its flavor profile is was peach with a touch of pineapple, lemon curd, and butter. The finish is dry and refreshing. The panel felt this would pair nicely with salty foods like chicken cordon bleu or ham with pineapple. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Buried Cane Chardonnay is a crisp, dry white with the ripe apple, melon and spice characteristics that define Washington Chardonnay. Enjoy this wine with chicken, seafood, pork and vegetable dishes.
