Wine Review: This Chard from Chile was recently recommended by our tasting panel. This pale yellow wine opens with a slightly smoky pineapple bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, crisp, with tropical fruit flavors with lime standing out. The finish is dry and refreshing. The panel felt this wine would nicely with salty foods like ham or prosciutto wrapped around cantaloupe. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On the nose notes of red delicious apple, white peach and pineapple dominate. In the mouth ample notes of pear and honeysuckle combine with just a hint of cumin and ginger leading to a zingy citrus finish accompanied by just a hint of spicy oak.
