Wine Review: This wine was our clear cut winner in our blind tasting of Sauvignon Blancs. This light straw colored wine opens with a pleasant mild gooseberry and apple bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is terrifically balanced, approachable with nicely integrated acidity, and very tasty lime like flavors with a hint of grapefruit. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. This wine is everything you want in a Sauvignon Blanc and more. This wine is very food friendly and the panel felt this would pair nicely with pork tenderloin with apple compote. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine opens with crisp apple, white peach, tangerine and meyer lemon aromas followed by subtle floral notes of lavender and sweet pea flower. Clean crisp acidity leads to citrus flavors of meyer lemon and grapefruit with tropical papaya and watermelon. A weighty SB this wine finishes rich and creamy.
