Wine Review: This golden yellow wine was quite popular and finished in 4th place in our recent blind tasting of dessert wines. This wine opens with a hot applesauce like bouquet. On the palate, this full bodied wine is very smooth, creamy, well balanced, and has very tasty orange like flavors with a light touch of honey. The finish is quite pleasing. This wine would pair nicely with key lime pie or a fruit tart. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: True Gold, Liquid Gold in a Glass! Hints of mandarin oranges, marmalade, and lily with strong undertones of fresh honeysuckle. Candied apricot and honeydew delicately intertwine to melt in your mouth. Balanced acidity makes this wine active and sweet, but not at all oversweet or cloying. Wonderful finish to any meal with light dessert or fresh fruits. Also works well by itself and with simple cheeses.
