Wine Review: This strawberry colored wine was my favorite offering from Anthony Road at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. It opens with a light strawberry and floral like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is dry, crisp, balanced, and displays enjoyable slightly tart strawberry like flavors with raspberry notes. The finish is dry, quite refreshing, and lingers nicely. I felt this would pair quite well with grilled chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Off dry wine that is light in berry fruit characters with a crisp finish. Serve chilled with lighter summer meals (sandwiches or cold cuts) or appetizers. Great with grilled chicken or shrimp (or veggies). Drink now through 2008 (drink sooner for that lively crispness you taste today).
