Wine Review: This cherry red wine finished in 6th place in our recent blind tasting of dry Rosé wines. This light bodied wine opens with a sweet cherry like bouquet with hints of strawberry. On the palate, this light bodied wine is round, crisp, with sweet strawberry like flavors with cherry influences. The finish is dry and brief. The panel thought this nice summer wine would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Ventana's Dry Rosé is created in the Classic South-of-France style - dry and delicious! Strawberry and watermelon tones for the nose combine with "candied apple" and red fruit flavors for the palate. The wine finishes with dry crisp acidity to refresh the soul and quench the thirst. Drink quite chilled with summer-time fare such as grilled vegetables and pasta salads, marinated olives and roasted garlic.
