Wine Review: We recently went out to dinner in the North End of Boston at a Restaurant called Bricco. Since out guests were going to the Celtics game we stuck with wines by the glass. The rich yellow colored Verdicchio from Bucci was the perfect choice. It opens with a light lemon like bouquet with notes of wet stone. On the palate, the wine is nicely balanced, shows good acidity and fruit integration and displays really flavorful lemon influenced citrus flavors that are really tasty. Everyone really enjoyed this wine. The finish was dry and refreshing. This wine was a perfect match for my scallops wrapped in Prosciutto. Enjoy - Ken
