Wine Review: This bright ruby wine is so smooth and elegant that it was very appealing to us. This wine opens with a fresh spicy strawberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is silky, well balanced, very easy to drink, and displays light strawberry flavors with notes of raspberry and cocoa. The finish is dry and brief. This wine did not have the gusto of many of the Pinot’s that we tried, but it was so delicious that we felt on the whole it was better than most. This food friendly wine would pair perfectly with Salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This garnet colored Pinot Noir has aromas of, strawberry, cherry, rhubarb, and humus. On the palate, this medium bodied wine has flavors of ripe red fruits, green tea, Kola nut and Asian spice. This Pinot Noir is extremely versatile and complements a wide range of cuisine. The earthy minerality that this wine displays works well with dishes including mushroom and braised vegetables dishes,or try with cedar plank salmon or Asian spice rubbed roast chicken.
