Wine Review: This entry into our blind tasting panel of Pinot Noir had the panel thinking. The bouquet was old world in style while the flavor profile was new world. The mixture caught the panel’s attention as well recommended this wine. This bright red wine opens with a raspberry like bouquet with earthy notes and hints of oak. On the palate this light to medium bodied wine is smooth, easy to drink, with soft slightly tart raspberry flavors. The finish is quite dry and its tannins linger for quite some time. The panel felt this was a very versatile food wine and that it would go especially well with salmon. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This vintage shows amazing depth, with aromas of faded roses and black cherry. The palate is velvety and rich, with firm tannins and toasty oak rounding out the silky mouthfeel. Notes of mocha and spice show up in the end and contribute complexity to this captivating Pinot Noir.
