Wine Review: Our tasting panel recently recommended this Barossa Valley Shiraz. This opaque dark purple wine opens with a blueberry, plum, licorice, like bouquet with a touch of heat. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is smooth, and shows rich plum like flavors with some dark chocolate and spicy licorice notes as well. The finish is dry, slightly tart, and brief. The panel felt this would pair nicely with a split roasted chicken or venison. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2005 Shiraz has plums, blueberry and blackberry flavours on the palate. Sweet vanillin oak lift against a spice backdrop. Old fashioned mouthfeel with glycerol and baked black fruits.
