Wine Review: This value wine from Columbia Winery made our recommended list after our blind tasting of Syrahs. This dark ruby wine opens with a light blueberry and plum like bouquet with a hint of musty oak and coffee. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is well balanced, smooth, tasty, and has light jammy blackberry flavors with some spice and pepper influences. The finish is dry, has some lingering spiciness, light tannins, and has a little length. The panel thought this wine would pair nicely with pork tenderloin with a brown garlic mushroom sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bright red plums, dark berries and earth fill the nose. The palate is filled with dark ripe fruits, smoke and black pepper followed by a rich and lengthy finish.
