Wine Review: Here is a gem we just discovered. This really bright yellow wine opens with a very fragrant tropical fruit bouquet with hints of pineapple and butter. On the palate, the wine is round, creamy, a touch acidic, and displays tasty tropical fruit flavors with a touch of vanilla oak on the back palate. The finish is dry but brief. This wine is very food friendly and would pair perfectly with chicken and broccoli in a white cream sauce. This wine is going to appeal to those who like classic California Chardonnay. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lemon blossoms, green apple ,and honeydew melon are front and center in this Chardonnay. This crisp fruitiness is combined with nuances of creme brule, vanilla, toasted macadamia, and humidor cedar making this wine both easy to enjoy and seductively complex. Supple and silky yet crisp enough for food, a great accompaniment for food and friends.
