Wine Review: Have you ever heard of the Erbaluce grape? Neither did the members of our tasting panel. So I added this indigenous white wine grape from the Piedmont region in Italy to our recent blind tasting of white wines and it performed pretty well. This light yellow wine opens with a bouquet that displays scents almond and light anise. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is clean, lively, and has slightly tangy citrus and light lemon like flavors. The finish is dry, zingy, and brief. The panel felt this wine would pair perfectly with stuffed sole with spinach & walnuts, chicken piccata, or orange roughy. Enjoy – KWGTP
