Wine Review: When in the Finger Lakes, Sheldrake Point Vineyards on Cayuga Lake is a must stop. The wines and the views are terrific. We were also impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of our server, Issac. This particular wine opens up with a very pleasant floral and lychee bouquet. On the palate, the wine is crisp, slightly acidic, and a touch tart. This wine has tasty light lemon-lime like flavors. The finish is dry, subtle, and refreshing. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The bright, clear straw color in this dry varietal leads into refined aromas of farm fresh peaches, fragrant lime and elegant mineral flavors through its long, clean finish.
