Wine Review: This pale yellow sparkler from Wiemer has very fine bubbles. It opens with a mild apple and dough like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, elegant, with quinine like flavors with touches of lime and minerality. The finish is dry and refreshing. This sparkler was build for gin & tonic fans. The panel would pair it with swordfish. Enjoy - KWGTP (I previously reviewed this wine and thought it was the best sparkling option that I came across on my August 2007 trip to the Finger Lakes wine region.)
Winemaker Notes: A truly exceptional Blanc de Blanc Methode Champenoise Champagne made from select mature Chardonnay estate vines. Its intensity in the nose and on the palate is in perfect harmony with its smooth, dry and beautifully balanced finish. A great champagne for both celebration and consolation.
