Wine Review: This is the second of two Gewürztraminer’s I am recommending from the trip. The first was Leidenfrost. This wine opens with a pleasant light lychee bouquet. On the palate, the wine displays light lime and spicy flavors. The wine is crisp, slightly acidic, and refreshing. The finish is dry, a tad spicy, slightly extended. This wine will pair nicely with many foods. Grilled Halibut with lemon butter sauce comes to mind for me. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This enticingly pale wine opens with notes of pink grapefruit followed by a mid palate of exotic spice, cardamom, & tart pineapple. The warm lingering finish makes for a delicious pairing with spiced pork or beef dishes, sushi, and even shrimp cocktail!
