Wine Review: This brownish red wine opens with a bit of an Old World earthy and tobacco like bouquet. It also has some caramel and spicy notes coming through. On the palate, this medium bodied wine has a distinctive oak influenced flavor that hides the spicy fruit and clove flavors a bit. The panel thought this would nicely pair with a nice assorted cheese plate. It is nicely balanced and would appeal to those who like French Burgundy. The finish is dry and brief. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: "Our 2005 Pinot Noir tantalizes the nose with the aromas of concentrated cherry preserve, earthy forest fruit, and hints of rose petals and roasted almonds. Velvety tannins complement the fresh fruit flavors and offer a full body mouthfeel sensation and delightful finish." - Ivan Giotenov, Winemaker
