Wine Review: Shocker!! This Pinot is a steal. It finished in 1st place in our recent blind Pinot Noir tasting. It is a very pleasing wine. The brownish red wine opens with a shy, almost non existent bouquet. One taster got hints of toasted marshmallow, while another got faint black cherry. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, has mild juicy fruit flavors, and is very easy to drink. Almost every panelist thought this wine would go well with food and serve as a very nice everyday selection. One taster plans to have it with his turkey sandwich the day after Thanksgiving. The finish is pleasant, dry, and lingers nicely. It goes to show you that if you make a wine that goes right down the middle in terms flavor and balance you can appeal to the masses. This wine did that and when the bottle was revealed and the price was told the panelist had found their upset special of the year. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Juicy and fruit forward, Alice White Pinot Noir offers bright cherry and plum flavors and smooth, supple tannins. Its finish is soft and lingering with hints of toasted oak spice.
