Wine Review: This red colored Merlot from Paso Robles came in 4th place in our recent Merlot blind tasting. This wine opens with an earthy and smoky bouquet with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is round, quite lively, acidic, and not overly complex. Most of the panel thought the wine was a versatile food wine that would match well with many different foods. The finish is very dry and quite extended. Enjoy – KWGTP
