Wine Review: Here is another good deal for a summer red. The wine is made with red Rhône style grapes. It opens with a mild cherry bouquet and a touch of pepper. On the palate, this ruby red wine is easy going and delightful. The wine is nicely balanced and has juicy cherry flavors. This tasty wine is not complex, but will match well with barbecue chicken or a nice pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The aroma of our 2005 Rhone de Robles is reminiscent of cherry and cranberry with hints of black pepper and spice. The color is deep ruby red and hints at the concentration of mouth filling flavors that are the reward at tasting. This Rhone style blend is a perfect food wine with fruit flavor delicately balanced by rich, silky tannins.
