Wine Review: This wine recently won our Sauvignon Blanc tasting in May 2007. It drew very positive reviews from the panel and ended with a score of 90, Very Good +. The wine opens with a distinctive cat pee, grapefruit, and citrus bouquet. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine was well balanced, slightly tart, and vibrant. The wine has crisp grapefruit flavors. The finish is dry and subtle. Most of the panel paired this wine with various chicken dishes. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense, powerful aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant and gooseberry, along with lifted notes of grapefruit leap out of the glass. A full, crisp and powerful wine with intense flavours of passion fruit and blackcurrant, along with underlying gooseberry and herbal tones. Mouth-watering acidity and an intense minerality is balanced by a full yet elegant palate that leads to a long lingering finish.
