Wine Review: This Sauvignon Blanc from Australia is almost clear with a touch of yellow. It's bouquet of pineapple, grass, wet slate and honeysuckle is inviting. It is medium bodied and balanced with zingy acidity. Its flavor profile is tropical featuring lime, juicy pineapple and honey with notes of gooseberries and green herbs. The finish is dry and long with some citrus notes lingering. A second glass is a must with a pan-fried lemon sole. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: An intense aromatic display of lifted gooseberry, kaffir lime, and freshly cut pineapple with subtle hints of crushed lemongrass, and just-snapped snow pea in the background. The mouth-watering palate is driven by tropical fruit characters which dance in step with an extreme linear acidity that keeps all of those heady flavors in balance, wrapped tightly together on a long and fine finish.
