Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec opens with a blackberry and black tea bouquet with hints of black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, fresh, and savory. The flavor profile is blackberry and stone dust blend with notes of black tea and red beet. I also detected hints of tobacco, tart cherry, and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, gentle acidity and moderate fine tannins linger nicely. I would decant or swirl this Malbec for a bit before pairing it with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy - Ken
