Wine Review: This deep purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi is terrific! It opens with a cassis and red plum bouquet with hints of crushed violet, chocolate, and sage. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and very fresh. The flavor profile is black cherry and stony minerality blend with notes of black tea and black currant. We also detected hints of black pepper, chocolate, and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins are very extended. We would drink this wonderful Malbec on its own by the fire pit. With food we will pair this with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense red black
Aroma: Complex nose that highlights ripe black and red fruit aromas; subtle spicy notes.
Flavor: Firm and mature tannins that give structure to the wine. Fresh and elegant due to great acidity. Long finish.
