Wine Review: This medium purple colored Malbec opens with a boysenberry and red plum bouquet with hints of earth and mesquite smoke. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with moderate racy acidity. We also found it to be round and juicy. The flavor profile is ripe red plum and minerality with notes of thyme, sage, and rhubarb. We also detected a hint of red licorice towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Malbec with turkey (dark meat) or Forge & Vine braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
