Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Malbec opens with a boysenberry and Twizzler bouquet with hints of stone dust and barnyard. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is tasty ripe red plum with nicely integrated graphite and black tea. We also detected hints of black cherry and loam. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate dusty tannins are nicely prolonged. The Panel would pair this Malbec with homemade meatloaf, Mexican carnitas, Roast lamb shoulder, or vegetarian three bean chili. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Polígonos of the Uco Valley is a selection that expresses the particular characteristics of different terroirs within the Valley. These are wines from a selection of vineyards that account for the differences in altitude, soil and climate that currently characterize the sub-regions of Uco Valley. This offering is red in color with violet hues. Expresses a great herbal character with notes of fresh red fruits aromas. It has great texture and wet-stone minerality. A very long and deep wine with lively acidity and subtlety of tannins in the mouth.
