Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Malbec from Zuccardi is Excellent! It opens with a mild boysenberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of blackberry and subtle cured meat. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and very fresh. The flavor profile is gentle black plum and stone dust blend with notes of muddled mint and raspberry tea. We also detected hints of birch beer and saline. The finish is dry, and its moderate refined dusty tannins linger and last for a while. We would pair this Malbec with New York strip steak or with braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
