Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored blend from Argentina opens with a black cherry and new leather bouquet with faint hints of anise, herbs and milk chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and displays balanced acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mild chalky mineral influenced red plum with notes of cilantro, gentle red raspberry and a faint hint of strawberry and black tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and refined tannins fade away nicely. This red wine would pair well with steak fajitas. Enjoy – Ken & Joe
