Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Malbec from Zuccardi is very good. It opens with a very fragrant red currant bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, round and nicely balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum and red currant blend with notes of flinty minerality and a hint of red raspberry. The finish is dry and its soft moderate tannins show very nice length. This Malbec is very nice and would pair well with classic braised beef short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep purple color, with bluish hues.
Aroma: Intense red fruits and floral aromas, such as rose and violet with other herbal notes.
Flavor: Soft and silky entry. Great structure with acidity that provides freshness and mineral texture. Long finish.
