Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Malbec opens with a red raspberry and green pepper bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a red plum and red currant blend with notes of green pepper, cranberry and flinty minerality. I also detected a hint of red raspberry towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors and dusty fine tannins drift away nicely. This Malbec would pair well with Memphis styled dry rub ribs. – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense red black.
Aroma: Complex nose that highlights ripe black and red fruit aromas; subtle spicy notes.
Flavor: Firm and mature tannins that give structure to the wine. Fresh and elegant due to great acidity.
Long finish.
