Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Malbec from Argentina opens with strawberry and red cherry bouquet with hints of cranberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and strawberry blend with nicely integrated minerality with hints of blueberry and old oak. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and and mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This Malbec is food friendly and versatile. I would pair this Malbec with a pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep purple color, with bluish hues. Aroma: Intense red and black fruits aromas, such as blackberries and blueberry jelly. French oak aging provides tobacco and chocolate hints. Flavor: Soft and silky entry. Great structure. Long finish.
