Wine Review: This Excellent Malbec was our mini-tasting groups favorite at a recent presentation the Zuccardi’s Ultra-Icon portfolio. This Malbec is midnight violet colored and opens with a very inviting blueberry bouquet hints of wet stone and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is aa tasty blueberry with notes of minerality and black currant. We also detected hints of dark chocolate and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This impressive Malbec would pair perfectly with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Red color with black hues. It expresses a great fruity character with notes of red and black fruits, strawberry, cherry and plum: which are complemented by fresh and mineral notes. A wine of grand structure and concentration.
