Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Tempranillo from Zuccardi is very good. It opens with a mild black currant bouquet with a hint of leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balance and very easy to drink with no hard edges. Thle flavor profile is a tasty mild black plum with hints of gentle cedar and faint minerality. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. While not and overly complex wine, this wine is super friendly and will be a quaffer. But a lot and put out at a happy hour with Angus beef sliders. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense red ruby color. Ripe fruits like figs, cherries, plums, integrated with spicy aromas due to the oak aging. Soft entry with firm tannins and balanced acidity. Greasy and persistent finish.
